  • Abhyanga is a traditional Ayurvedic oil massage practiced for thousands of years to nourish the tissues, calm the nervous system, and restore balance to the body.

This course teaches a complete Abhyanga treatment designed to improve circulation, support lymphatic movement, deeply relax the nervous system, and nourish the skin and fascia.

Participants will develop confidence performing a full Abhyanga treatment while gaining a practical understanding of the philosophy and therapeutic intention behind Ayurvedic oil therapy.

Over 85% of the course is dedicated to hands-on practice so that students leave with real skills and confidence applying the treatment.

    Course Purpose

The purpose of this training is to teach practitioners how to safely and confidently perform a traditional Abhyanga oil massage treatment within a professional therapeutic setting.

Many massage therapists rely heavily on deep tissue work, which can lead to strain on the hands, thumbs, and wrists over time. Abhyanga offers a complementary approach that uses long rhythmic strokes and body weight rather than intense pressure.

This training provides therapists with an additional therapeutic modality that promotes relaxation, circulation, and nervous system balance while also supporting the longevity of the practitioner’s own body.

Participants will also learn how Abhyanga treatments can be integrated into professional practice as a premium service offering.

  • Foot Therapy for Whole-Body Balance

Ayurvedic Reflexology is a therapeutic foot massage technique that stimulates specific reflex points connected to organs, glands, and systems throughout the body.

By applying targeted pressure to these points, practitioners can support circulation, relaxation, nervous system balance, and overall vitality.

In this immersive hands-on training, participants learn how to perform a structured reflexology treatment that combines traditional reflexology principles with Ayurvedic concepts of energy flow and body balance.

Students will learn to identify reflex points on the feet, apply therapeutic pressure techniques, and perform a complete reflexology session designed to support relaxation, digestion, circulation, and systemic balance.

The AYA Method

The AYA Method teaches therapists how to work with the intelligence of the body through Awareness, Yielding to its natural rhythms, and restoring Alignment in the body and mind.

Awareness

Understanding the body.

We teach therapists to develop deep perception.

The body is intelligent. Our job is to learn how to listen to it

Yield

Working with the body, not against it

Therapists learn to work with the body’s existing patterns and allow release to occur naturally.

Alignment

Alignment is not only structural. It includes balance in the breath, nervous system, and overall vitality of the individual.

Balance is not something we find once in life. It is something we practice every day.
